Happy Birthday Pastor Jeff!!!

I found it interesting and a bit ironic that Oswald Chambers' devotional for February 22nd, your birthday, is entitled, "The Discipline of Spiritual Perseverance." More than anything else, your encouragement to keep pressing on and to continue and persevere has helped me so many times to "keep on keeping on."

I have grown so much the past 2+ years at Family Church and am SO THANKFUL that God's planted you and your family in Chesterfield and that I have the privilege of calling you my pastor.

Thanks for your commitment to "keeping it real." I love how you don't candy-coat some of your own struggles and challenges, but share them, along with your victories and triumphs as a testament to the fact that we're all a work in progress (and as you often say, a piece of work =).

I pray that this next decade of your life will be the most fruitful yet. I pray that every dream and vision in your heart from God comes to pass, even as He's promised.
