Dear Pastor Jeff,
What a privilege and an honor to be able to share in the celebration of your "jubilee" year and in the celebration of "you"! For ll years we've been blessed to have been the recipients of your encouraging, uplifting words each week, always interjecting humor along the way to "keep it real", bringing us joy and laughter - even in church! You have set the standard and have been an amazing example of the love of Jesus to all of us in your church family. We so appreciate your "vulnerability" to share from your pain and your mistakes. You have made it easy to "live up" to the scriptures because you have clearly modeled the mercy and forgiveness of our Savior.
We, as a family want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for "pouring yourself" into us each week and for always building us up in the Lord, in our faith, and in the Word. You have helped us to keep our eyes on Jesus no matter what the circumstances of life have thrown our way, knowing that He has the answer. SLFC has always been such a safe haven for the wounded and weary and it is a pleasure to bring friends or family, knowing they will hear a word in due season to encourage, strengthen and lift them up! We have never met or heard anyone who could make Jesus so desirable and appealing. You truly have the gift of Evangelism and Encouragement!
We love and appreciate you for all you have sown into our lives and we thank you for "always being an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12)
May the Lord bless and keep you and your precious family and "may He grant all of you according to your heart's desire and fulfill all your purpose" (Psalm 20:4)
