Happy Birthday Pastor Jeff.
The first time I ever met you, you smelled so bad that I thought I was going to throw up... I had worked at Romabach Farms for several years and after the flood I was at Maggie Romabach's helping clean up. I walked out to the front porch and there you were, standing there with your big smile as always. You were wearing waders and came up to introduce yourself to me. Man you smelled sooooooo bad. You apologized for the stench and explained that you had been cleaning out Mathew's meat locker. (I think that must have been when the swollen ham blew up on you. It sure smelled like it!) My first impression was if a Pastor can clean out a meat locker like you did, you must be some kind of a person, because it takes someone special to do that kind of work for someone else. Not many people could do that. After a while the Baur boy's convinced me to try SLFC. They kept telling me if we came we would never leave. They were right. You have been an inspiration to myself and all of my family. I rededicated my life there, as did my sister. My mother was saved there( something I never thought would happen).
I appreciate you and your family so much. You have changed my life and I know that God will continue to bless you for all the wonderful things that you do for evryone in the church and around the world. Your a life changer!
God Bless You
