Pastor Jeff,
No one is more deserving of a 50th Birthday event like the one that was pulled off for you. We're disappointed that we were out of town and unable to take part in the festivities. We wanted to take this chance to let you know just what you have meant in our lives since meeting you almost 8 years ago. When we left Kansas City, Mike Bickle was our pastor. When we asked his advice on finding a new church home, he suggested you and knew that we would enjoy your leadership, but didn't know where you were located in St. Louis. It didn't take long to find you, and God revealed Himself to us in a big way through your messages. We are so grateful to the Lord for you as our pastor. Over the last seven years, you, Pastor Trey and your families have come to feel like our family. You all have even experienced life at "Trophy Country". Personally, you have encouraged me in some of the most joyous and most tragic times in my life. You shared in the joy of our third child, Parker, and dedicated him to the Lord, and you comforted us during the months prior to and after Mom went home to be with Jesus. Despite the circumstances, your message was the same, "God is good." We appreciate your humor, honesty, and your way of making us feel like family. Most importantly, we thank the Lord for your obedience to His call on your life. We are all reaping the benefits of what you have sown. Thank you for not shrinking back and for pressing on. We're glad we get to do life with you, too. We love you and pray that this will be one of your best years yet!!!!!
