Dear Pastor Jeff,
Happy birthday to you!
I asked Frank what you can say about the number 50. and he said "you are twice as much as you were when you were 25"! I think that 50 should be more like Jubilee in the OT. Wow..a jubilee year. What a thought.
You and Patsy have brought us through and into more. Our family was in crises when we first met (1990), and I would say that what has kept me believing is your encouragement to NOT QUIT no matter what. I do know that Jesus has the words of eternal life, and light has come to me about these words during the times of listening to your sermons. It has seemed the voice of Jesus becomes audible in my spirit while you have been teaching.
I have loved more people and in turn encouraged them likewise.
Thank you for loving us and making more room in your heart for more of God.
We are seeing such breakthroughs-our son Luke is gaining ground, and my sister has been delivered from danger and making a fresh start. Our nephew Jimmy has autism, and a rare disease with retardation. He was always violent, but recently has been listening to Joyce Meyer. Carol my sister and his mom along my brother in law are talking about God and listening to Carmen. Jimmie's sanity has returned and is attending church where he stays. Angel's husband Miguel has been studying John Maxwells books, and has skipped over some promotions into managing the merchandising of Home Depots in Mcllen Texas. They listen to your CDs every week, and they both have been growing in God in difficult times while he worked in Mexico, and spent alot of time on airplanes.
Thank you for all you are and do. You have hind's feet for high places.
Esther
